SPECIALIZED CELLS

Some cells are so highly specialized for their job that they don't need a nucleus to direct them. This is because they only do one or two jobs for the cell.

An example of a highly-specialized cell are red blood cells. These cells have one job for the cell: to carry oxygen in the blood stream around to cells.
